Date & Time
The Multi-Tracer system records the date and time along with average data in MTD files and the date and time with each IV curve.
Therefore, the date and time must be set.
You can set the date and time manually or have it automatically synchronized to a NTP time server.
Manual Setting
Uncheck the " Automatically Set Time" box. Enter the current date and time. The time zone is not critical to manual mode, but for consistency, it is recommended that it be set. Set the time zone in hours west of GMT (negative for hours east of GMT).Then and press the "Apply" button.
Using a Time Server
Check the " Automatically Set Time" box. The default server pool settings are appropriate for most applications.
Else, enter the specific NTP time server address(s) to use. Set the time zone in hours west of GMT (negative for hours east of GMT).
Note: refer to the Network settings for additional settings that may be required for use of a time server.
It is recommend that you manually set the time before enabling the time servers the first time. This will allow the time to synchronize much faster.
After defining one or more time servers, press the "Apply" button.
