Our History

Raydec, Inc. was started in 1988 with the original name of Lashway Instruments. Initially, Lashway Instruments produced the I-V Curve Tracer and performed data acquisition system development and custom power supplies for photovoltaic applications.

In early 1992, Lashway Instruments was incorporated under the name Raydec. Work has continued in photovoltaic instrumentation since that time.

Early on, Raydec, Inc. partnered with Daystar Inc. Raydec designed and manufactured all of the Daystar IV Curve Tracers and Multi-Tracers sold by Daystar.

Beginning in 2022, Daystar closed after 33 years of successful operation. Raydec then took over sales and support as well as continued manufacturing of the Daystar photovoltaic products. We now sell the same equipment directly as our Daystar line of test instruments.
